MyUSMLE is a not-for-profit sub-brand of MyUCAT, a UK social enterprise built around a simple belief: a career in medicine, including the international paths that follow, should be available to talented students regardless of background, school or postcode.

Our mission

To make world-class USMLE preparation freely available to ambitious medical students and International Medical Graduates worldwide who are considering US residency. We do this by combining first-principles teaching with the cognitive science of learning, delivered by experienced mentors with deep understanding of preclinical sciences and the USMLE pathway.

Our relationship to MyUCAT

MyUCAT is the parent social enterprise, best known in the UK for evidence-based UCAT preparation. MyUSMLE was launched as a not-for-profit extension of that mission: the same first-principles approach, applied to the next chapter of any aspiring doctor's career.

The social-impact angle

The USMLE pathway is famously expensive and opaque, and the cost of preparation often falls hardest on those without family networks already in US medicine. By making top-tier teaching free, we widen the door for talented future doctors everywhere, whose ability has never been the question.
